👋 New Clients
-
No you don’t. It doesn’t matter where you live, you are always welcome to come visit and have a look around before committing to becoming our client.
-
We determine the suitability of our Centre for new clients on a case-by-case basis. We honour everyone’s individual circumstances as they naturally differ.
In the case of a medical condition having been diagnosed: there is no age restriction. We do have some height and size requirements that need to be met due to the nature of our equipment, but we will always try to accommodate people whist prioritising safety. This includes individuals’ needs, and medical & personal restrictions.
Those under the age of 18 will need to be with a responsible adult or carer at all times.
-
Our professional therapist will see you at your Initial Assessment to discuss your needs and how your personalised exercise plan, when put in place, will benefit you. The purpose of our Centre is to provide exercise services to people with disabilities or medical circumstances that would otherwise make taking exercise unsafe or difficult if they were to attend a regular gym. The machines can do as much or as little of the work to suit your own preferences; the specialised equipment works your muscles allowing you to stay active no matter your circumstances.
-
You do not. Most clients are self-referred, although some come by the recommendation of their occupational therapist or doctor.
-
We ask each new client to go through the sign-up process. Every new client is asked to book an Initial Assessment appointment with our therapist first, to determine the suitability of our Centre. Then you will be given a one-to-one Gym Induction with our Gym Supervisor. Once you are all set on our system you will be able to book your gym sessions.
-
Yes, of course you can! Your initial consultation and subsequent gym sessions will need to be booked in advance, but you don’t need to book in order to look around. You are also welcome to bring someone with you.

🏋️♂️ Power-Assisted Exercise
-
Sessions last around an hour. You can book as many sessions as you’d like, depending on availability, for the current month and next month.
-
You will have to pre-book your gym sessions in advance. You can do this in person, over the phone, by email or by sending a message via the enquiry form on our website.
You can book sessions in the current month and one month ahead only.
Session re-bookings are not automated; you will need to do this manually.
-
Your initial gym induction will be held one-on-one with our experienced gym supervisor, where you’ll be introduced to the machines you’ll be using as part of your personalised exercise plan.
After that, your sessions will be shared with other clients. We limit our sessions to 12 clients per hour. Users move around the room following their individual exercise programme, switching from machine to machine over the course of the session.
-
There are no fixed charges. Our clients are asked to donate what they can afford. The money we receive goes towards the running costs of the Centre.
-
No, there is not. Please ensure that you wear comfortable clothing and footwear that are suitable for exercise.
-
All gym staff and volunteers are trained in Manual Handling and First Aid for emergency situations only. If a client is unable to safely enter the Centre, move between machines, or transfer on and off equipment independently, they must be always accompanied by a responsible adult.
Our top priority is safety. We supervise, observe, and offer guidance on technique and posture, and provide occasional physical adjustments when necessary. However, we do not provide regular one-to-one assistance.
If your support needs exceed what we can safely provide, we regret that our gym may not be suitable for you.
