Triceps Dip & Leg Curl

🔍 Description

Strengthens the muscles of the upper arm and thigh.

During the ‘push down’ phase of the upper limb movement, the triceps muscle will be activated. This muscle is important for reaching activities and getting up from a chair. As the knees straighten the quadriceps muscles in the legs are also utilised; this muscle group is essential for standing, walking and climbing stairs.

During the ‘pull up’ phase of the upper limb movement, the biceps muscle is used. This muscle group is very important for lifting and carrying activities. The hamstring muscles will also be used and will bend the knees during this movement; they are important in everyday activities such as walking, climbing and jogging.

Improved strength in the biceps and triceps will also improve the appearance of the arms.
