Newbury Bridge Club - Annual charity night

On 16th August Newbury Bridge Club held its annual charity night, which raised close to £4,000 for our Centre, half this coming from an auction of pledges, with the remainder coming from ticket sales, a raffle and most of the food costs being covered by sponsors. We are particularly grateful to First Great Western and the Highclere Battle Proms Marketing Department for their donations of tickets which raised £220 and £120 respectively for us. We are hugely grateful to Newbury Bridge Club's Committee and players for this amazing support, particularly to Club Chairman David Barratt whose auctioneer's skills drove the bidding so high during the auction.
