Queen's Award for Voluntary Service

On 2nd June 2017 the London Gazette announced that West Berkshire Therapy Centre has been awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, just three years after first starting its service. The award is equivalent to an MBE for a voluntary organisation!

This pays tribute to the many, excellent individuals who volunteer and help The Centre in a very wide set of roles, ensuring that our service is provided to the highest possible standard.

This follows WBTC receiving a Gold Community Award from Thatcham Town Council last month, recognising its contribution in helping the townspeople of Thatcham.

The Trustees most warmly thank and congratulate all the WBTC volunteers and staff for everything they have done and for their wonderful personal commitment and their teamwork.

The Queen's Award certificate will be handed to WBTC Trustees and volunteers at an official event later this year, an occasion to which we all look forward with great anticipation!
