An Afternoon of Fun, Friendship and Fundraising
We were delighted to welcome over 50 supporters to our recent Quiz and Curry fundraising event, held on Sunday 18th October 2026 at The Bowler’s Arms (Newbury), which proved to be a resounding success from start to finish.
Friends, facilities and charity supporters came together for an afternoon filled with friendly competition, plenty of laughter and a delicious curry, all in support of the Centre’s vital work within the local community
Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, bought raffle and tombola tickets, bought and painted spooky 3D-printed models from Little Big Models, purchased sweet treats from the bake sale table - and in general, supported the event - we are thrilled to announce that an amazing £2,437.75 was raised for our charity. These funds will make a real difference in helping us to continue providing an important physical therapy to those who need them most.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our friends at The Bowler’s Arms for hosting the event and for providing such a welcoming venue. Their hospitality and support played a big part in making the event such a memorable success.
Finally: a big “thank you” to everyone who attended, donated and helped out. Times like this remind us of how fortunate we are to have such a caring and committed supporter network behind us. Special shout-out to the quizmaster Colin, and our entire team of volunteers & staff who gave up their time to help bring everything together.
