Rotary Club Boules Event, Newbury

On 10th June members of the fund-raising team manned our stall at the annual Boules event in Newbury Market Place, organised by Newbury Rotary Club. The Mayor of Newbury paid us a visit and the photo shows our Chairman, Norman Casson describing to her what we do and the difference we make.

The stall raised just under £125 to boost our funds and several members of the public said how grateful they were to meet us. We look forward to some of them using our service soon! Thanks to Hazel for organising the stall and to her, Mike, Sara, Norman and John for manning the stall and for talking with prospective service users and with members of the public.
