2022 End of Year Roundup

2022 has been another successful year, with use of our service building well, back towards where we were before the three lock downs we were obliged to endure. Immediately after the lock downs we were seeing little more than half the clients we had been seeing previously, due to many of our clients being concerned about venturing out and risking catching covid. Now we are back to over 80% of our best footfall and the numbers are growing month by month. It is great to see more and more people returning to take exercise and recovering lost mobility.

Our finances have been helped greatly by income from numerous sources. Client contributions were the single largest source of income. In addition we received income from the following important sources:

  • Legacies: £25,000

  • Greenham Trust: £24,417

  • Anonymous donations: in excess of £15,000

  • Edward Gostling Foundation: £10,000

  • Parkinson's UK, Newbury & District: £7,000

  • Berkshire Community Foundation: £5,000

  • Childwick Trust: £5,000

  • Get Berkshire Active: £3,520

  • February Foundation: £3,000

  • MS Society, Newbury & District: £2,820

  • Sir Jules Thorn Trust: £2,000

  • Gerald Palmer Eling Trust: £2,000

  • Barratt Foundation: £1,000

We are immensely grateful for this support which has allowed us to fund our way through the aftermath of lock downs as well as to grow our Hydrotherapy funds.
