Catherine’s rowathon

Throughout the whole of 2022, much respected part time member of staff, Catherine Belcher, has been using West Berkshire Therapy Centre's power-assisted 'Seated Rower' to keep herself more mobile and to help ease her aches and pains, with the equipment helping her to make repeated, gentle rowing strokes in short sessions each week throughout the year.

Along the way she has also gently burnt off a lot a calories, rowing the equivalent of an amazing 162 miles between 1st January and 31st December, raising just over £1,000 towards the Centre's running costs in the process.

This is a truly magnificent achievement and is a testimony not only to how the Centre's equipment has helped to improve Catherine's well-being, but is an inspirational message to others as to how they also might use our equipment and meet their own challenging targets. Well done and thank you Catherine!
