Tesco ‘Chosen Charity’

Elaine Griffiths from the Tesco store in Didcot presented a giant cheque for a wonderful £1,000 to WBTC Trustee Tim Pritchard and WBTC Chairman Norman Casson on 23rd September, surrounded by staff and volunteers. Tesco customers had voted the Centre into second place two months earlier, using their 'Tesco Chosen Charity' tokens after shopping there. This follows a similar success at five Tesco stores last year which raised £5,000 to help with equipment replacements. Trustees, staff, volunteers and clients are all very grateful to Tesco's customers for voting for us and helping to keep our equipment up to date.
